My Nemesis

Yes, this is my nemesis. I am almost finished with part 4, I still have to finish the left hand side, do some backstitching and put in the beads. Martina came out with part 5 today, 2 days early! This, to me, is not good news. Pressure, pressure, pressure! I would actually have finished this part over a week ago if I hadn't had to frog almost as much as I've stitched. One night I frogged much of the right hand side, restitched it and realized I had made ANOTHER mistake and had to frog that whole area again, 3 hours after I began I was exactly where I had started :(. Part 4 was huge and part 5 looks huge also. I've decided I have to get myself into a more organized rotation with my stitching or this piece is going to overtake my life. Even though I am not enjoying stitching this, it is absolutely stunning IRL.

Thanks to everyone for your comments, they always bring a smile to my face.

Don't give up. It is GORGEOUS. When you frame it you can give it a smug little smile every time you pass by it.

I think it pretty darn STUNNING in real photo....I can't imagine how glorious it is in real life! Don't let it take your life over...but seriously although stitching her small freebie Mandala's make me cross-eyed, if you stick with it the finished product is just too much for words! SPN will be breath-taking!

Your St Pete is looking fantastic! Sorry it seems to be such hard work - I'm not even a third of the way through part 4 yet, so I'm not even trying to keep up any more!

It looks awesome. The fabby is stunning.
Frogging really does put you off stitching something, well it puts me off when I have to frog a heap.

It's amazing! I hope you're able to find a more workable rotation.

This is so pretty, but with all the detail and its larger size I would think that it could be a bit overwhelming at times. Hopefully you can get a rotation going that works so you can make progress on this but still have time to stitch on something else that is a little more fun.

It's absolutely gorgeous but I sure don't envy you stitching it. I'm sure taking a break from it will just re-energize you :o)
