Horror of horrors

I have finished part 4, including the beading. I started the beading last night and when I was almost half way done I realized I was using the WRONG color beads. Ack!!!! So I have spent this morning fixing my error. Do you know how hard it is to remove beads that are packed together? For those of you who do not know me I am not typically this brain dead when it comes to my stitching. There is something about this piece that just doesn't click for me. But every time I finish a part, I look at it and think it is just beautiful. Hopefully my next post on this piece will be one that says "hey, I haven't made any mistakes and I'm enjoying it".
Happy 4th of July!

It's looking lovely. Sorry you had to do more frogging, removing the beading does not sound like fun. Hopefully the next section will go smoothly for you and you won't have anymore issues.

Wow! It's just gorgeous. I certainly admire your dedication. I'm sure I would have found a way to convince myself the wrong colored beads were really right-er. :P

I am so sorry about the beading error. I am having the same issue with a piece I am working on. I am constantly making mistakes and that is just not usual for me -- it seems that this piece just does not want me stitching on it! I am trying to work very slowly and I am only working on it one day a week. Keep it up thought because it does look beautiful.

I would love to say I know what you mean but I haven't started beading yet. Why you ask??? Well, because I haven't even finished part 1 yet. I've got to get moving on this one. :)
