The start of the end :(

I have started Block #12, which is the Olde Burial Ground and the last block to this piece that I have so enjoyed working on. I believe I've been working on this for about a year and I have loved every minute of having this in my hands. I will definitely miss this when I'm finished with it. My goal is to have this finished by the end of September.
I hope everyone has a lovely Labor Day weekend ;)

Can you believe it is almost done. It is quite an undertaking. I am just beginning and you are finishing up. Have you ever figured out how many stitches there are in that 12th block. Figure it is stitched solid 92x92. The total number of stitches will scare you. Great job.

Although I'm really looking forward to seeing the finished piece I can understand how it will take some getting used to not reaching for it when you sit down to stitch.
Hope you are having a wonderful weekend.

I can understand your sadness about finishing such a large project. It will be fabulous though!

What will you replace it with? Any ideas?
