Thank you

I want to thank the people who've been commenting on my blog about the fact I've not been blogging.

Life is so difficult.........the most devastating thing has happened in my family. I can barely put two words together most days, never mind think about writing something on my blog. I haven't picked up a needle in weeks. I feel like my husband and I are just two "shells" of people walking around trying to get through each day and yet still be good parents to our kids. The strength we have is knowing that God knows everything and is in control, but that doesn't make it any less painful. And I never knew it was possible to go through so much emotional pain. But we need to continue to be able to give this to God. This situation has changed my husband and I forever, but hopefully we will be better people because of it.

Thanks to all of you, I hope someday to be able to pick up a needle again.

I am so sad to hear that things are so bad for you at the moment. I am thinking of you and praying also, that you may have some kind of peace with whatever you are going through. At times like this faith is so important, knowing that God is there, sharing your pain. He will work things out for good, even if it is impossible to see at the moment. {{hugs}}

You and yours are in my prayers that God can bring you through your troubles and make things better.

Hang in there. Stitching can be the therapy you need when the time comes that you are able to return to it.

Remember there are a lot of stitchers out in the blogging world that are there for support and comfort.

So good to see you post as a lot of us were wondering where you were. I'm sorry to hear that things are not going well :o( Sometimes I think we are put in front of difficult situations in order to make us grow. I do hope you will get back to stitching and find that joy again :o)

I just happened upon your blog this morning and want to take the time to say - sorry life is so rough for you right now as well, I'm sorry whatever you're dealing with is interferring in your desire to stitch.

You have some beautiful pieces on the go. Here's to hoping things in life settle down for you and you're able to find your way back to them. From someone that has been in a place ready to give it all up, I send you a cyber, 'feel better soon' thought.

Oh my dear friend, your note on the blog is so heavy and it scares me. I know you're going through something just nearly too heavy to bear. Only the Lord can comfort you now, as we know from experience. I can only add my prayers and hope you'll feel lifted up and a sense of peace as the days go by.
Remember that He will, "give you a garment of praise for the ashes of mourning," as only He can through the darkness that life brings. We will live to see this Truth...
Sending love and hugs,
Deb
