What is worse than stitching 1/1? FROGGING 1/1!!!! Boy, I'm struggling with doing the 1/1 on this piece and I've had to frog most of what I've stitched this week in the verse. I've told myself I have to do some 1/1 every time I pick up this piece before I can move on to an area of 2/2. Otherwise this will never get done.
I'm also trying to finish up Part V on my Chatelaine, but there is so much backstitching that I have no desire to even pick it up. As you can tell, backstitching and 1/1 are my least favorite parts of stitching. I am very tempted to start something new but A Sweeter Love is a gift for my DH so I need to keep my focus on this piece.

I know exactly what you mean about frogging 1/1! I've found it takes longer to frog than it does to stitch it in the first place! Hope you get past the frogging soon and on to something more exciting. Glad to hear your daughter is well too.

You know it will be worth it in the end - though sorry I know it doesnt help a lot right now. It is looking lovely though.
And here I was grumbling because I was frogging over two. I apologize. I am sure you till do a magnificent job of redoing the lettering.

Oh my...it is always tough having to frog 1/1. Much more difficult than stitching it :) But it does look so fabulous when finished, so hang in there!

oooh frogging over 1 over 1 is a nightmare. Sorry to hear you've had to do it but this piece still looks gorgeous:)
Not much fun. That is why I don't do 1/1 very often. Have a couple of things that I need to work on.
Your piece is looking good. Hang in there you will like the end result.

My you've made wonderful progress. Frogging 1/1 is miserable,, it is so hard seeing it clear enough even with a magnifier to get it back out. I hope that the rest of the piece goes smoother for you, it's gorgeous.

Frogging in general can be frustrating ... frogging over one is quite the challenge. Good Luck & IMO - this is a lovely project. Hang in there. Will be worth it once completed : )

Your work looks beautiful! I can imagine frogging 1/1 is really difficult, though!
