Maude

Here's my update on Maude Eloise. I still really enjoy stitching on this piece. I'm very close to being done. Maybe a couple of more weeks and it will be finished :).

We finally have our pool clear enough to swim in it. Of course the horrible heat wave that we had is gone and it's almost too cold to swim now.

Thank you all for the encouraging comments, they are appreciated.

Great progress, it's looking wonderful, I see a finish in your future shortly. :)
To bad the weather cooled off and you can't use you're pool now that it is all cleaned. However, I'm sure the temp. will change again and you'll be out and enjoying it then.

Looks lovely!
Ah isn't that always the way. When we had a pool we had terrible trouble with keeping it clean over winter. When the heat would start coming in summer it took ages to get it all clean. I think if we ever get a pool again it will be heated. We only ever used the pool 2 or 3 months out of the year. I guess it was more for the dog than us, he enjoyed it a lot more! LOL

Wow, you really put a good dent in this one!

Figures. You can't seem to win no matter what you do with the weather these days :oS

Maude Eloise is looking beautiful and I can't believe how much you have completed. St Petersburg is coming along really well also.

Don't you just hate that about pools. We had a pool many years ago where we were renting and the pool pump broke. Conseqently the pool went a lovely shade of green. It took weeks for the landlord to get it fixed and by that time it was too cold to use it.
