Miss Mermaid

I haven't had much time to work on any stitching projects, but I think I've made enough progress on my mermaid to post a pic. I still enjoy working on her, but I'm not keeping up with the beading as I had planned, so I'm starting to feel a little anxious about that. The next time I work on her I've told myself I'll have to work on some of the beading. I do want to finish this piece by the end of the year and I think I'll be able to reach that goal.

This coming week I'm going to redecorate my youngest daughter's room. I'll be removing the wallpaper and painting her walls. We went out this morning so she could pick out her bedspread, at the price of $100, yikes!!! I'm going to choose the paint and border for her room from the colors in her bedspread.

Happy 4th of July to everyone.

She is just so gorgeous and I'm sure you'll have no problem finishing her this year :o) You're going to put me to shame.

I want to thank you for all the kind words and support you have shown for Brie and I. Hugs!

Your mermaid is beautiful. Don't stress about the beading-- it will happen. Like that great quote of yours says -- not an easy journey. :)

She's looking beautiful, good luck with the beading. Also, good luck with the redecorating. I really need to work on some areas of my home. I did buy some paint this weekend for one of the rooms, now I just need to get organized enough to actually paint it. As I've never painted a room before, it is actually kind of intimidating.

Your Mermaid looks gorgeous! I do find beading can be a chore, whether you do it as you go, or all at the end, but so worth it once you are finished. I almost feel like paying someone to bead for me!

Good luck with the painting and redecorating. I hope you show us some picture when you are finished.

Mermaid is coming along nicely. A year end finish seems feasible. I love beading so if all else fails, I can finish it for you!!
