The Schoolhouse is erected

This block is moving along quickly and as usual I love every minute I put into this piece, but there's still a lot of stitching to finish this block. I'm starting to think about what I'll replace this with when I'm done. I have several birthday gifts to stitch and of course Christmas is right around the corner. So I'm undecided if I'll replace this in my rotation with gifts to be stitched up or another big project. Of course, I could always use an extra night on St. Petersburg to try to get caught up but I'd really have to think about that one.
Have a great weekend everybody ;)

The Village schoolhouse is so cute! And please, don't mention Christmas being so close...I never get all my stitching done in time! I really need to start on New Year's Day.

Looks good. I vote for working on Christmas stitching - it really isn't that far away (eeek).

It's so cute and reminds me of the little red school house my grandparents used to own :o) It's so exciting that you are almost done. I'm curious to know what you will replace it with.

I love the pigtails on the little girl in the schoolhouse block! I know what you're saying about Christmas coming up soon. I need to start thinking aobut what I'm going to give people and maybe put some of my bigger projects to the side to start working on presents.

It's such a gorgeous project - it's almost a shame to finish it! I vote for another large project, because I love watching them come to life :)

What a great block to be stitching the same month school starts back. Its looking really cute. So nice of you to stitch gifts for Christmas presents. I'm not! The pressure is too great. I've decided instead to stitch a little something for my friends/family when something inspires me to do so.
