Update on SPWN

Here's my update on St. Petersburg. I'm glad it's turning out so pretty, since I still get very little joy out of stitching it, but I will persevere to the end ;)

It is pretty, beauitful and incredible. Just look back at the posts for this piece you've made in the last several months and give yourself a pat on the back. You're making great progress and its looks perfect! You'll have it done in no time.

It looks great! I always think "spawn" (as in "demon spawn") every time I read it on your blog. Makes me giggle a bit.

I'm still hoping to start it one of these days.

This is such a pretty piece, and you are doing well with it!

What is it about this piece that is not making you enjoy it?

I love the updates on this piece, it's really turning out to be a beauty. When you are done this will probably be one of your favorite stitched pieces.

Oh please hang in there with this! Its giving me a good idea of what mine will look like once I finally start, since our fabric colors are so similar.

It is fabulous! I'm not sure why you're not enjoying the stitching but it will definitely be worth it in the end so hang in there :)

I think it's quite apt that your least favourite project has initials which nearly spell spawn, which makes me think of nasty things! I, for one, think you're doing a marvelous job and love watching the progress of spawn LOL :)

That is just so pretty. Don't worry about the joy--I always get tired of my stuff about halfway through, so it's always like having a frenemy. You'll get through it and have that beauty done!

It's gorgeous, I'm sorry you can't enjoy it more while it is in process. No matter how lovely something looks, it is difficult to make yourself work on something that you just don't want to.
