Mermaids

I've almost finished the beading in her hair. I've decided I'm going to bead as I go along and not leave them until the end. This piece is so much fun to stitch. This is for my daughter and she is watching with great delight as the mermaid comes to life.

Thanks for all the well wishes for my son. He feels a lot better, but he still has a bad cough and a fair amount of wheezing. He was started on a new medication and I'm waiting out the 10 days to see if it's going to work or not.

Just stunning! It's probably a good thing that you're beading as you go along, then you're not in my current position. LOL!

The mermaids is looking lovely. What pretty fabric. I like the idea of doing the beads as you go along. Why didn't I think of that LOL

Mermaids is beautiful and I think you made a wise choice doing the beading as you go along. I left beading a Mirabilia until the stitching was done and I swear it took longer to bead it than to stitch it!

I feel so bad for your son, my son too suffers from the same problems with chest infections. Its been such a bad year for bugs. I hope his chest gets better soon.

A Sweeter Love is also coming along nicely. I'm enjoying this one.
Sorry to hear your son has been ill. It's sure a lousy way to spend his school holiday. Hope he responds well to the medication.
