Update on Maude

I'm making great progress on Maude Eloise 1891. I love this piece. It's such an easy piece to pick up and work on. I have several more Blackbird Designs in my stash and may need to stitch another one.

Today is the last day of school for my kids. I love having them around the house but they certainly cut into my stitching time. But they're definitely worth more than stitching :)

It looks great! It seems to be stitching up pretty fast!

I love that quote at the end of your entry, btw!

Your stitching is all absolutely stunning - St Pete, your Mermaids and Maude! You have fantastic taste in fabric too. : )

Your Mermaids and Maude and looking awesome. I love adding beads to a project, gives it such a great look.
Might be great having the kids home but boy do they eat you out of house and home.

Beautiful progress:) I just love how this piece is stitching up.

I love having my kids at home too. Got a bit longer to wait here as they finish 23rd July. Jess is actually finished for now as she's finished her exams but goes back on 16th June for those last few weeks.

Very pretty piece, I love the colors.

As for summer vacation, I hope they enjoy their time off. Personally, I love summer vacation as it is vacation for me as well :)

Loved the comment about your kids being home and cutting into your time. But, it is worth it for them to be home! WHat a great mom you are! KC

You have so many lovely WIPS.
It must be hard to choose what you will work on.
This is looking lovely.
I'm a big fan of Blackbird Designs and love just about everything they do.
