Noah

Well, it's been a long time since I've posted. My posting mojo left with my stitching mojo.

I've been struggling with a kidney stone since Tuesday so I haven't felt much like stitching, too uncomfortable. I'm having more xrays done on Monday and will have some options laid out for me on Wednesday when I see the urologist again.

Also, my daughter had plastic surgery on her lip yesterday. She had to have a scar revision done and a mole removed that the doctor's have been concerned about. She's a trooper though, her lip looks pretty scary but she's holding her head high and planning on going to the first day of school this Monday, she's only 12 years old, so I'm feeling pretty proud of her.

Above is my progress on "Noah". Not much to show. I do need to clarify that this piece is not ALL 1/1. Most of it is 1/2. Those 1/1 areas are still killing me though on this 40ct linen.

Thanks for stopping by, I always appreciate it.

Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you as you go through the kidney stones. Holler if you need an ear... I definitely know what you are going through.

I pray that your daughter has a wonderful first day of school. It is wonderful to see the spirit of our young overcome something that we can not see ourselves doing.

I am with you on the lack of stitching so I will pray we both find that mojo/motivation soon.

That piece is looking wonderful.

one over one one 28 count kills me so i do admire you persevering with it on 40 count even it there is only a small amount.

WTG girl - I can see why you are proud of your daughter. Spirit is a great thing to carry youself through life with.

Love your Noah design. Never would have thought of stitching it before seeing you work on it. Now it is a possibility.

Good luck with the kidney stone. Ugh!! Your daughter must be a special one to go through all that and not have a problem going to school.
